CranesCottage was founded by a team with more than 30 years of experience in Architecture, Historic Preservation and Customer Service. Our deep-rooted passion for protecting and celebrating architectural history inspired us to breathe new life into this c. 1752 Nathaniel S Crane Estate, located approximately 20 miles from New York City. Today, the property has been transformed into a warm and welcoming home away from home, an intimate private event venue, and a distinctive backdrop for film and photography.

Expanding on this legacy, we proudly introduce the CranesCottage Containers—award-winning, multipurpose living units that can be adapted into a kitchen, luxury bath/spa, guest suite, or complete home. Designed with the same balance of heritage and innovation that defines the estate, these containers offer flexibility, sustainability, and timeless design for modern living.

In addition, CranesCottage showcases a curated collection of antiques, garden décor, and unique collectibles for sale, allowing visitors to bring home a piece of history and craftsmanship that reflects our passion for preservation.
